Privacy Policy
ScamCatch exists to protect people — not to harvest their data. This policy explains what we handle and why, in plain terms.
What you paste
The message, email, link, or text you paste into the scanner is sent to our analysis engine to produce a verdict, and is not saved to any account or database. We don't keep a copy of the content you check. Please avoid pasting sensitive personal data you don't need analyzed.
What we collect
- Your email — only if you give it. If you subscribe for product updates, we store your email address to contact you. Nothing else.
- Basic, aggregate usage. We keep a simple daily counter of how many scans the service handles so we can stay within free infrastructure limits. It is not tied to you.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't store the content you scan.
- We don't build advertising profiles.
- We don't require an account to use the scanner.
Third parties
We use Cloudflare to host the site and run the AI model, and Mailgun to send the occasional email if you subscribe. Your scanned content is processed to produce a response and is not used by us to train third-party models.
