What to do
How it works
Three seconds between you and a bad click.
Paste it
Copy the message, email, DM, offer, or link you're unsure about and drop it in the box. No account, no app.
We read the signals
ScamCatch checks it against the patterns fraud investigators look for — urgency, impersonation, look-alike links, money asks, OTP grabs, and dozens more.
Get a clear verdict
A risk score, the exact red flags it found, anything that looks legit, the likely scam type, and the safest next step.
What it catches
The cons aimed at ordinary people, every day.
Phishing
Fake bank, delivery, tax, or login “verify now” messages built to steal passwords and codes.
Job & task scams
Work-from-home offers that pay you to “review products” — then ask you to deposit money.
Marketplace
Overpayment, “shipping agent,” and off-platform deals on rentals, tickets, and resale.
Romance & pig-butchering
A warm stranger who slowly steers you toward an investment app or an emergency.
Tech support
“Your device is infected” pop-ups and calls that want remote access or gift cards.
Crypto & investment
Guaranteed-return groups, fake exchanges, and screenshots of profits that never withdraw.
Why it matters
Scammers count on you deciding in a hurry.
Every convincing scam runs on the same fuel: urgency, authority, and a moment of doubt where you don't want to look foolish by asking. People lose billions a year not because they're careless, but because a believable message arrived at a busy moment.
ScamCatch is the pause button. A neutral second opinion you can reach in five seconds, that never judges you for asking, and that explains why something is or isn't safe — so next time you can spot it yourself. We're building the reflex check for a world where anyone can be targeted.

The team
A small team against a big con.
ScamCatch is an independent consumer-safety project. We build one thing well: a fast, friendly way for anyone to sanity-check a suspicious message before it costs them. We started in 2026 with a simple conviction — that the best defence against fraud isn't fear, it's a calm second opinion that's always one paste away.

Questions
Straight answers.
Do you store what I paste?
No. Your text is sent to the analysis engine to produce a verdict and is not saved to any account or database. Don't paste anything you wouldn't want analyzed, but nothing is kept.
Is it always right?
No tool is. ScamCatch is a strong, fast second opinion based on the warning signs in the text — treat a low score as “looks okay, still verify” and a high score as “stop and check.” When money or accounts are involved, always confirm through an official number or website you find yourself.
Is it really free?
Yes. Quick scans are free for everyone with no account. A future Plus plan adds deeper analysis, history, and family alerts for people who want more.
Can it check links?
It reads the link as written — flagging look-alike domains, mismatches, and shady patterns. It does not visit the link. Never tap a link you're unsure about; paste it here first.
Get the heads-up.
One email when Plus and family-protect alerts open up. No spam — we'd be the first to flag it.
